July Update

This is indeed the strangest year. Everything that happened could fit into multiple years and still be epic. I just returned from a month-long work/holiday in Europe. It came out of the blue, and while exciting and exhausting, it was also a huge teacher. I discovered that I am in much better condition than I thought. I am shook! My longest walk was in London where I clocked 18km on a rather warm Summers day. My most challenging was a trek in guernsey where my nemesis (tall steps) reared its head and I defeated it. My body just kept on going and I rarely felt fatigued. This is big for me.

Head over to my Instagram for the full trip fitness breakdown.

Last month, I also received the results of my brain issues; as much as there is still temporal slowing, seizures have been ruled out. Yay! They will continue to monitor, but I can say that after close to 6 months of brain recovery after my fainting and concussion, my brain is firing on all cylinders again.

Now to keep the fitness up and not lose what I have gained. A bit of a struggle right now as I battle some strange jetlag that had me awake at 1.30am. blergh!!
