All parts balance and joy

As you work on yourself, through moving, the psyche, through food, you will naturally develop a sense of ease, balance and joy. I’m not saying all days will be easy, but when your body is feeling better, so are you. You have greater control over life and its ups and downs. You’re better able to tackle challenges and can start looking at other areas in your life that require your attention. You can rise up.

It’s ok to be a taco sometimes (they fall apart a lot), we all do. But imagine what it will be like when exercise becomes easier (and it will) when those nagging thoughts around guilt, exercise, and food, drift away. You have space now.

What is that space for?

It’s for you. What do you do in that time that gives you joy?
Maybe you’re a :

Reader
Writer
Jigsaw puzzler
Artist
Knitter
Cook
Furniture restore
Scrapbooker
Photographer
Meditator
Volunteer
Innovator
Gardener
Something else?

Now the same question? What are your underlying thoughts about doing things you like to do?

Do you have guilt? Do you have doubts? You can evaluate these thoughts in the same way you did when looking at exercise or food.

And realise that experiencing joy is a vital self-care principle.
